The philosophy of community policing aspires that the police engages community with a view to broad base the approach of Police for ensuring dignified access to police services and work towards finding solutions to the community problems while meeting aspirations of the community. This is unique effort to integrate community with working of police. This collaboration will form the basis of local level planning of the police department with a focus on major issues requiring collaborative efforts in their resolution. Revamped, restructured and reengineered processes are put in place to ensure speedy and effective service delivery as well as bottom to top approach of police planning with active involvement of Saanjh Committees and Saanjh Advisory Boards at all levels.
